Reiki/Prana/Energy Medicine

Reiki, Prana, and Energy Medicine all work from the understanding that the body is more than muscles and bones — it is also an electrical, neurological, fluid, and energetic system.

Different traditions use different languages, but many healing systems throughout history have described the same underlying life-force energy flowing through and around the body. In Eastern traditions, this may be called Prana or Qi, while other systems describe biofield energy, energetic regulation, or subtle body awareness.

Stress, trauma, emotional overload, injury, chronic tension, and nervous system dysregulation can affect how this energy moves through the body, often contributing to feelings of exhaustion, heaviness, disconnection, tension, or emotional overwhelm.

These sessions focus on helping the body shift into a calmer, more regulated healing state by working with energetic flow, nervous system relaxation, breath, intention, and whole-body awareness.

Many patients experience deep relaxation, emotional release, clarity, improved grounding, and a stronger connection to themselves during and after treatment.

Energy work is often blended with osteopathic, cranial, fascial, and nervous-system approaches, depending on what the body appears to need during the session.

In my experience, the most important part of energy work is not the technique itself, but the relationship between the client’s readiness to heal and the practitioner’s ability to stay grounded, calm, and regulated. I often tell my students that if you are not regulated enough to become your client’s tuning fork, you are wasting both your time and theirs. A deeply regulated practitioner helps create the conditions for the nervous system, body, and energy to soften, reconnect, and move into a more natural state of healing.

Warning…clients often feel so relaxed that it can take a few minutes to become grounded after the session. Be sure not too book anything needing alot of focus after your sessions.
