Tissue Melting Level 1

An Intuitive touch for deep tissue relief

Tissue Melting teaches Massage Therapists and Manual Osteopaths a new way to assess and treat the body through advanced “listening skills”. Techniques are only as effective as your clinical and intutive assessments blended with technical skill and client communication skills. Long-term pain relief is possible when the practitioner and client work together to peel back the layers of tension within the fascia, lymphatics, joint motions, trigger-point adhesions, and nervous system regulation.

In this 4-day course, you will leave class with a practical and intuitive assessment approach you can implement immediately. Students learn how to “melt” tissues that quickly create changes within the nervous system, allowing them to release deep layers without forcing the nervous system into a stress response.

Fascia is a living system, communicating with blood flow, lymphatics, brain connections to spinal fluid, organs, muscle tissue, and the nervous system. It responds via the nervous system, creating the strength of steel or the fluidity of water, a term called thixotropy. Meaning that deep tissue massage often creates more scar tissue and resistance to treatment in the long term.

Leave the course implementing your new assessment skills on day one in your clinic, leaving clients with the “wow” factor that you finally found a way to resolve long-standing tensions.

Many Manual Osteopaths find it challenging to integrate techniques into a flow-like session. Tissue Melting’s signature assessment takes the guesswork out of subtle techniques. Massage Therapists find it challenging to integrate Osteopathic approaches into their extensive therapeutic training. This foundational training helps Massage Therapists prepare or decide if a career upgrade into Manual Osteopathy is for them.
