Cranial Sacral Therapy
This fluid plays an important role in protecting, nourishing, and supporting the nervous system's function. Restrictions caused by injuries, stress, posture changes, muscle tension, sinus congestion, trauma, or long-standing compensation patterns can affect how the body moves, regulates, and heals.
Developed by osteopath William Sutherland, cranial therapy explores how subtle tensions within the fascia, skull, spine, and nervous system can contribute to pain, strain patterns, headaches, tension, and whole-body dysfunction.
Using highly refined palpation skills and gentle hands-on techniques, the treatment focuses on identifying and releasing restrictions throughout the cranial and fascial systems to improve fluid movement, nervous system regulation, and whole-body balance.
Many patients experience deep relaxation during treatment, often entering a calm, meditative healing state where the body can shift out of protection mode and into restoration.
