The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant.

Practical Intuition

Intuition exists in all of us. It is constantly gathering information through the body, nervous system, emotions, instincts, and awareness of the world around us. The challenge is not whether intuition is there — the challenge is learning how to recognize it, trust it, and understand how it uniquely communicates through you.

Many people spend years doubting themselves or trying to follow someone else’s path, only to feel more disconnected, stressed, and uncertain. Intuition is personal. The moment you stop trying to copy how someone else thinks, heals, creates, or lives, you begin reconnecting with your own natural rhythm.

Understanding yourself more deeply often leads to less internal stress, greater clarity, stronger boundaries, and a calmer nervous system.

Reduce stress. Reduce tension. Reduce pain.

What is Intuition?

What used to be termed “gut instincts”, “spidy senses”, or superpower guessing has taken a giant leap in the metaphysical and community. For many people, the need to understand what it is and how it works must be answered before a belief in “intuition” is accepted. How do you explain what you cannot see, hear, smell or sense? How do you explain to someone, “I just knew”?

Worse…how do you trust it? How do you use it?

Some people are naturally gifted at communicating with spiritual guides or loved ones who have passed away. That is a beautiful gift, and mediums can be incredibly helpful when you need outside validation or comfort.

But there is no reason to constantly look outside yourself when you have direct access to the exact same information database.

A medium can "read your energy" and confirm if you are on the right track. But they cannot live your life for you. Ideally, you want to turn on your own internal compass for everyday help.

From choosing your next vacation to deciding on a major house move, the answers are already inside you. There is no better answer on Earth than the one you "just know" is right.

Think of it like this: it is always nice to have someone cook a meal for you, clean your house, or wash your car. But the reality is that you are fully capable of doing those things for yourself.

You do not need to be a Red Seal chef to feed yourself well, or have hyper-organized ADHD energy to keep your space clean. On a day-to-day basis, you do just fine on your own.

Your intuition works the exact same way. It is great to get outside guidance occasionally, but you possess the baseline skills to handle your own life.

Simply Put: What is Intuition?

Intuition is just information.

It is real, practical data that you have access to right now—it just doesn't live in your conscious short-term or long-term memory banks.

So, where is this information stored?

It lives in your subconscious mind and in the particles of light that make up "the cloud." Some people call this database universal energy, the ether, the collective consciousness, or your higher self.

No matter what you call it, your physical nervous system has an “antenna” that tunes into it.

The Science: Your Internal Internet

Let’s get scientific for a moment. Those "antennas" we just talked about are actually light receptors inside your cells. Your body has a built-in system in which these receptors communicate with each other constantly.

The easiest way to understand this is through your enteric nervous system—the massive web of nerves in your gut [1]. [1]

When you eat food, your gut bacteria consume it and release chemical byproducts. Those byproducts immediately trigger signals that shoot directly to your brain [1]. [123]

Here is the kicker: It doesn't use your spine to do this.

It bypasses your main nervous system entirely and uses the body's "internal internet" [1]. Your gut literally talks to your brain along its own private fibre-optic cable [1]. [1]

When people talk about a "gut instinct," they aren't being poetic. They are describing a biological fact. Your subconscious is downloading information and sending it through your internal internet before your conscious mind can even form a sentence [1]

Eat Sugar… gut says release the dopamine… brain says..” yeah..do that again!!! BUT when it drops, cravings start, which causes anxiety. It’s like having a little dude in your head talking to you!! It also releases serotonin to make you feel nice and comfortable, but over time it also triggers inflammation.

Eat Meat or Protein…Dopamine is released, but it’s subtle, a little quieter…but the stability creates alertness and confidence. GABA is also released, telling you that you are safe and secure.

Eat Vegetables….they are like your internet technicians; calming the immune system, reducing inflammation

Tip of the Day

The number one killer of receiving accurate information from "the cloud" is an anxious, inflamed nervous system. To hear your intuition, you have to remove physical, mental and emotional fear.

A crappy diet does way more than destroy your physical health and body image—it actively kills your intuition.

When you flood your body with sugar and processed junk, your gut bacteria send panic alarms up your internal internet. Your protective ego misinterprets that chemical chaos as real-world danger. It locks you into survival mode, blocking your antenna from downloading the truth.

If you want a clearer connection to your inner compass, stop looking for magical answers. Clean up your earthly machine first.

The Biggest Block to Intuition

There are so many answers inside you right now. The hardest part isn't finding them—it’s trusting them and acting on them.

You have a few things standing in your way:

FEAR

FEAR

AND MORE FEAR

What causes this? Your subconscious brain is incredibly good at its job: protecting you from "bad things happening."

But let's look at what your overprotective ego actually considers "bad." Ask yourself:

  • Is it really bad if someone doesn't like you?

  • Is it really bad if someone calls you a name?

  • Is it really bad if you lose a friend because you stood up for yourself?

  • Is it really bad if you lose a job and have to go find a better one?

  • Is it really that bad if you have to make changes in your life to get what you want?

Your ancestral brain treats social rejection and career shifts like an attack by a sabre-toothed tiger. It panics, creates physical tension, and shuts down your intuition to keep you hidden and "safe."

But you are not in danger. You are just growing.

The moment you realize that the worst-case scenario isn't actually fatal, the ego relaxes. The fear dissolves, your nervous system calms down, and your internal compass turns right back on.
